PIXAPP will be present at the EPIC Online Technology Meeting on Commercial Challenges for Photonics as 5G Booms on 25 January at 15:00 CET.
Broadband services at gigabit rates to local destinations, larger areas served at frequencies below 6 GHz, low latency services for local and large datacenters, and connections for Internet of Things (IoT) and autonomous vehicles will require new photonic devices able to fulfill the requirements to satisfy social demand for higher data rates. This meeting will focus on the needs of the service providers of 5G technologies for new optical technologies such as free-space optical communications, LIFI, fiber based cellular backhaul, and integrated optics for increasing port densities and high-speed optics.
